It’s possible that it’s the XT running BSD or some other Unix-like OS, and the Amiga is running the Xwin11 Windows Server… Also possible, (Ive Done it) the XT has a 286 or 386 MB installed… The Screen shows the typical AmigaOS 2.0 or higher gadget library…

Granted, nothing is plugged in tho 🙂

The Amiga 1000 was powered by a 68000, the A1200 shown was the 68020.

Great story. Sounds like some of the things I used to do at home until getting married. Before marriage i could break it and try to figure out what I did wrong. Now if I break it I have about 30 minutes or less to “fix” it……lol

I just updated my PBX in a Flash system, rebooted my server, and had a similar problem:

[root@pbx /]# amportal start

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function posix_getpwuid() in /var/lib/asterisk/bin/gen_amp_conf.php on line 3
**** WARNING: ERROR IN CONFIGURATION ****
astrundir in ‘/etc/asterisk’ is set to but the directory
does not exists. Attempting to create it with: ‘mkdir -p ‘

mkdir: missing operand
Try `mkdir –help’ for more information.
**** ERROR: COULD NOT CREATE ****
Attempt to execute ‘mkdir -p ‘ failed with an exit code of 1
You must create this directory and the try again.

I just disabled the following lines of /var/lib/asterisk/bin/gen_amp_conf.php and it works now.

// die(‘Forbidden – must be root’);
// }

We didn’t have any contractual obligation. We only had to wait out the month (or give a month warning, I believe.)

We ended up moving to a different club and management at La Cima was completely overhauled since then as well. The parties involved are no longer there and the mood there has improved greatly.

I am having the same problem as DS. I could not find download links for anything but DVD ISO images. Does anyone know whether or not the v100 can be connected/booted from an external/USB DVD drive? There are 2 USB ports on the back side, but I don’t know if the OFW supports external drives or not. Otherwise, as DS asked, does anyone know where on Oracle’s website we can download CDROM ISO images vs the DVDROM images they’re currently offering up?

We have that installed and Dominica uses that when possible. It’s pretty hard to use on a large scale though and we have a lot of battery management issues with the Android (and a ton of time that the Android just goes offline and becomes useless.) Oh if only we could have brought the iPhone.
