This afternoon, Min and I took off to drive down to Ithaca to have dinner with Bob and Lisa at the Mahogany Grill. We got down to town around 5:45 and met down on the commons. Dinner was really good. The Mahoghany Grill was really good even if the service was a little vacant.

After dinner we headed over to Ithaca High School to watch Nate’s kids in The Secret Garden. Neither Min nor I had ever seen the musical before. It was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t believe how good it was. The musical itself was really good but the kids were just phenominal. Everything about the show was just great. We had a wonderful time.

After the show, a bunch of us went out to Madeleines on the Commons for some coffee and dessert. It was amazing as always. We hung out for a while there with Nate, Tammy, Zach, Susan and Bob. Bob, Lisa, Min and I stopped by Sammy’s to get a slice before we hit the road back to Geneseo. I missed Ithaca pizza. Geneseo pizza is really good, but different.

We didn’t get home until 4:30. Boy are we going to be tired tomorrow.

Finally the week is over. I have been looking forward to this all week. I am exhausted. I had to get some orders out today. I also managed to get an order off for my new computer. I have been looking forward to getting one for some time. I ordered an Athlon 64. I am very excited about moving into a 64 bit processor. The new machine will be quite a bit faster than the current one. I need the extra hoursepower for the Virtual PC applications that I run. I needed more memory too so I am moving up to a full gigabyte. I am moving the new parts into my current case so that I have the abililty to expand with lots of harddrives in the future. I am a big beliver in tons of harddrives. I should have the new computer at the end of next week.

The game is on tonight so I am going to post early. I have been needing a good game for a while now. This evening Min is cooking dinner before the game, Indian.

Tomorrow night is the Ithaca High School musical so Min and I are planning on heading on down to Ithaca to see it. We really haven’t been down to visit Ithaca in a while so it will be nice.

Happy April Fools Day!

This evening Min and Phil went up to Empire State College for an information session. They were interested in the Masters in Education degree that they are starting this fall but they discovered that it was just a scam and that it isn’t a real master’s degree and you don’t get permanent certification or anything. So that was a bit of a disappointment but at least they managed to discover that they weren’t interested at all in what they had to offer. Min is thinking about their master’s program in business policy.

After the information session, we had dinner at the Ayers’. Kate cooked up a lasagna – it was really good. We couldn’t hang out late though because both Phil and Min had to work tonight so we had to get back.

March 31, 2004

Once again, I wrote updates and forgot to post. I AM getting old. Today was a work at home all day – day. I got a lot done, some certifications, a whole lot of partner stuff. It was a good, productive day.

Min subbed again today, she has been getting a lot of work. Next week Keshequa begins spring break so she knows that she won’t be working. But that works out well because we have a big Microsoft thing on Tuesday. So she is free to go now.

Phil and Min have a college thing tomorrow evening so we are planning on hanging out in the city tomorrow evening.

Min’s knitting website is up and running. Not polished yet, but running nonetheless. You can check out the beginnings of the site at MincaKnits.com.

March 30, 2004: Back from Binghamton

My first day back from Binghamton. I was exhausted today. I kind of took the day off but didn’t get very far. I was so tired all day that I wasn’t productive. I laid down for a nap in the afternoon but just before I dropped off to blissful slumber Cory showed up at the door and we went off to Omega Grill to talk about some work. Cory just came off a job for the state and is ready to hit some new and exciting projects.

Min and I spent the evening hanging out because we haven’t seen each other in days and she has to work all the rest of the week.
