Today is my one day here all week. Well, and Friday. But the whole middle of the week I am out of town. I worked around the house this morning and then went to Perry early this afternoon to drop off some stuff with one of our clients and to consult with another. After I was done out there, I drove down to Pavilion to help dad drop off his car at the shop.

Min subbed again today. She has been doing quite a bit of subbing down in Nunda.

Min and I slept most of the day away. We were so exhausted by the time we had finally gotten to bed that we slept for like thirteen hours or so. Boy did we feel better after that. We were pretty hungry so we drove on down to Dansville and got Bob’s Belly Busting Fish Sandwiches at the Buck Horn. Their fried fish there is really exceptional. The day is quiet and rainy and we thought that it would be nice to just relax at home. So we came back and watched the Vicar of Dibley which is such an incredible series. Dawn French is just brilliant.

I talked to Bob this morning. He is thinking about moving into the realm of high end audio and video soon and so he might be coming up to Rochester to see what the audio city has to offer.

If you read yesterday’s update, then you know that there was no sleep period between yesterday’s update and today. Phil, Chris and Josh hung out until 1:00 or so. Everyone was pretty delirious from lack of sleep. We all sat around in the living room being completely deranged.

Min took off right about the same time as everyone else. She had to get over to Perry for Tammy Englert’s bridal shower at Brick Presbyterian. Nate arrived just after Min left and we went down to Main Street and got some lunch from Aunt Cookies. We got some subs – Nate is always dying for Aunt Cookies’ subs. Then we headed off to the shower for the last half or so. Susan and Emily were both there so Min and I had some people to hang out with while Nate and Tammy were busy with shower stuff.

After the shower, Min and I went over to dad’s to hang out. We were so tired that we both ended up taking naps when we first got there. I slept for about an hour and Min slept for about two. Then we went down to Pavilion and got a pizza from Davis’ Farm Market and we watched the PBS fund raising drive. Phillip Bretherton and Moira Brooker were both in Rochester at the WXXI studios to help with the fund raising. Min wanted to drive to the airport and wait for them to get on a plane so that she could see them (they are lead characters from our favorite television show.) By 9:30 we were exhausted and headed home to get some sleep. We were in bed by 11:00 and boy did we need to get to sleep.

I talked to Phil late last night and he and Chris are planning on joining the game tonight so it looks like the game is back on. It has been two weeks so and I haven’t played a single game since then so I am looking forward to it.

Before everyone arrived I did some cleaning around the house. There are CDs everywhere. I have been going through them trying to determine which ones are missing. I am pretty sure that there is an entire box of CD’s missing somewhere. I have identified quite a number of CD’s that are definitely missing. I think that one of the boxes of discs that I packed didn’t make it to the house. I looked all through the basement and garage but haven’t been able to find anyplace for the discs to be hiding. I am hoping that a box of CDs is hiding either at Nate’s or dad’s houses. Now I just need to determine exactly what is missing. If I had a solid number then I would know better what it is that I am looking for.

Most everyone arrived right around 9:00 and we got the game started around 10:30. Tonight is Chris’ first time playing in a multiplayer game so it will be a bit of a shock for him. We ended up playing five games of 2-on-3 and didn’t end up wrapping up until 8:20 am! That made for a long night with a lot of Mt. Dew and tea. Everyone was pretty exhausted by the time we were done. We all packed into the car and drove over to Lakeville to have breakfast at Leisures with Dominica. I figured that she wouldn’t be as upset that we played all night if we got breakfast with her.

Min and I drove to Rochester and did some shopping at Target. They have a rack of $6 movies now to compete with Walmart’s $5.50 selection. Target has fewer of them but has much better movies and they put them on a rack instead of just throwing everything into a bin that everyone has to dig through. I think that that really helps them move a lot more movies. We found a lot of good stuff. We picked up Steve Martin’s All of Me, Jackie Chan’s City Hunter, Heart of Dragon and My Lucky Stars and Sammo Hung in Eastern Condors. The really nice thing about these martial arts films is that Twentieth Century Fox has redone them in Dolby Digital and DTS with Anamorphic Widescreen which is pretty rare on this older films. So I was really happy about that. That brings the entire collection up to 788 movies. We are very close to the 800 mark.

We got home and watched All of Me. I haven’t seen that movie in years and I forgot the plot but it is a really funny movie.
