Man is it cold today. All of the schools in the area were closed today.

Andy and I went to Tom Wahls in Avon for some lunch. We braved the cold. The roads were fine but it was so cold that we couldn’t keep our breathe from freezing on the windshield. After lunch, we headed up to Rochester to go to Borders. Andy bought a ton of books to take back to Puerto Rico with him. He got confirmation that he is going back on Monday and will be in PR until the first week in March. He is happy to be able to go down during the coldest time of the year. This week’s incredibly cold weather is making it easier for him to leave.

Since York cancelled school today, Jeremy came over to play some AoE2 with Min, Andy and I. We managed to get two games in and some pizza for dinner. Jeremy had to get back home because he might have school tomorrow. He is hoping that he doesn’t because it will mean a five day weekend.

Tonight is Min’s last day at work this week because she worked a day early this week. So, because of that, the game is back on tomorrow. Min has decided that she is going to play so we are able to have the game even though she isn’t working. It is going to be Andy’s last game for quite some time. Jeremy is going to be able to make it and Andy’s brother Tony is coming over for his first game. So that is five players before we even get started. So we might have a good game.

I accidentally slept in late this morning. Min got me up in time to sort of get ready before Danielle arrived. Actually, Danielle had to wait in her car for a little while because it didn’t look like anyone was awake in the house. I finally got ready (having to treat and dress my foot every morning doesn’t make getting ready any easier.) We were planning on doing sales in Naples today but we started in Hemlock and in Honeoye. By the time we were nearing finishing in Honeoye the weather took a turn for the worse. The snow really started blowing and we decided that being out doing sales was a bad idea so we turned around and headed back to Geneseo and pick up Dominica to go to lunch at the Omega Grill. I just had a tunafish sandwich since I am on a very strict diet now that we have gotten the results of my blood test from New Year’s Eve. Lunch was good and it was nice to have a break today.

After we got back, Dominica wanted to play some AoE2 so she and Andy teamed up against me. I won the first game but lost the second once they got they show a little more organized. After the games, the three of us headed over to dad’s to get some pizza. We hung out there this evening and played some foosball. Dad got a new table a week or two ago and this is the first that Min and Andy have seen the table.

Min had to go to work this evening. So Andy and I watched some Are You Being Served? He has been itching to see the later episodes on DVD.

Danielle and I went out doing sales this morning in Nunda, Dansville, Wayland, Cohocton and Avoca. We had a pretty productive day. We got back to the house just in time for me to take Min to her doctor’s appointment in Batavia. She is finally doing something about her back. After her appointment, we went straight over to the hospital so that she could get some x-rays taken. We got that done and headed home. We got the results of my bloodtest from New Year’s Eve. I have high cholesterol and LDL (LDL and HDL are not actually cholesterol but cholesterol carriers – we did a lot of research because no one is ever able to tell us what the numbers actually mean.) It sucks that my numbers are bad even after having been a vegetarian for two and a half years. So Min is making me go on a diet now.

Since I didn’t manage to get to bed until 7:30 this morning, I spent quite a bit of the day sleeping. Min got up and played The Sims for a while. She gets really excited when she finally gets a chance to play. When I finally got up, I headed back down to the basement to begin work on the new email server. After yesterday’s fiasco, I decided that I really need to get moving on that because the old system just isn’t going to cut it in the long run. We need the new system up soon but it is an unbelievable amount of work to get to running. By the time I got up, Miranda had already headed back to Canada.

This evening, Min and I watched Three To Tango with Matthew Perry. I haven’t seen that movie since it was first released in ’99. It is a really cute movie and Perry does a really good job in it. It is one of my two favorite Perry movies, Fools Rush In being the other one. After that, we decided to stay up a little later than we normally would because I had been up so late last night that I wasn’t going to fall asleep very easily. So we watched Y Tu Mama Tambien which Phil and Kate had recommended.
