September 7, 2003: Four Weeks Until the Wedding!

Min and I slept in late this morning and missed church. It is probably best, though, because Min has been so tired that she really needed the chance to catch up on some sleep. I went down to the office first thing and played half a game of AoE2. It has been a while since I was playing the game but I appear to be back in form. I am finally doing well against the computer again. Arti called and needed help reinstalling Windows 2000 on a PIII 550 that he had so he, Danielle and Michael came over about 2:00 and Danielle and Min hung out upstairs while Arti and I worked on the computer and Michael played video games. We didn’t get the computer done while they were able to stay so they took off around 6:00 and I worked on the computer through the evening. I finished playing my game of AoE2 and I believe that I am now the first one of all of us who has managed to beat two computer opponents on the hardest level. Whoo-hoo.

Min and I watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days this evening. I was really surprised by how good it was. I really enjoyed it. It is in the borrowing library now for all of you who are patiently waiting for new releases.

September 6, 2003

Today is Emily and Craig’s daughter Ellie’s first birthday party. So Min and I headed on over to Perry for the party. We hung out there for a couple of hours and Craig took the Mazda 6 out for a test drive.

After the party, we went straight over to Arti and Danielle’s house in Wadsworth for dinner. After dinner, Arti and I playing three games of AoE2 while the girls went out and did some shopping and then watched Drop Dead Fred on DVD. After the movie was over, they both fell asleep on the floor and the couch while Arti and I continued to wage war late into the night. It was a good time and I think it may be the first time that I have managed to play three games of AoE2 in one day!
