Saturday. Today was a very relaxed day at home. I mixed my time between loads of talking to team members, working on marketing research, and watching television with Dominica. The girls mostly spent the day playing on their own.
Friday. Busy day online, I was in the office writing all day.
Our January is really very heads down and focused on just day to day work. I feel like much of the month has really just been lost, much to stress as we found out this week, for certain, that the job in Phoenix / Qatar was a total scam and was never going to be a real job. Not a total surprise, but now it is official and we know that the whole thing was a farce. So dealing with that has been a bit ridiculous.
Thursday. I actually got to leave the house and working locally on site, today! That’s not something that I get to do very often, especially if it is anything other than phone support.
For dinner tonight, Dominica made a mushroom risotto.
Wednesday. This morning we still had snow on the ground from yesterday. And our pipes are still working. So far we’ve made it this entire season without our pipes freezing.
This evening Dominica and I finished watching the second season of Grace & Favour. Then we started watching one of my old favourites, A Good Man in Africa. I originally owned that one on Laserdisc and it is in my collection somewhere in storage. We did not finish it. Dominica is not into it. I like it, though. It’s a good story and good actors.
