Sheep Guarding Llama

Thursday.  So hard to believe that we are already into June.

Today the girls and I played Overcooked together.  Dominica has not played with us since before we went to Europe in January.  But Liesl, Luciana, and I play it regularly and have gotten pretty good.  Even Luciana is a bit of an expert these days.

Dominica and I watched more of The Ranch tonight.

Wednesday.  And the end of May already.  We have been so busy, just heads down working on trying to get business going that we have been very insular and have had very little interaction with the outside world.  Things have been busy, but we have been home just focused on a lot of our projects.

Dominica made veggie burger salads today, for lunch.

Tonight Dominica made honey glazed salmon; and we have continued watching Netflix’s The Ranch.

Tuesday.  Worked at home today.

Tonight I got selected to go to Quiz Night again down the street.  Dominica and I normally try to take turns but she was out recently to go to the club, so I got Quiz Night.

Tonight we actually made a good showing and ended up winning!  I think that this is a first when I have been with the team.

Dominica and I have started watching Netflix’s show The Ranch which isn’t perfect, Sam Elliot’s character is super detracting from the rest of the show, but overall we are enjoying it.  It is very different, which is nice.  Very much a chance of pace for sitcoms.

The girls wanted to go out for a walk around the neighbourhood today, presumably to go Poke Hunting.

Liesl and I played Overcooked again today.  We are slowly figuring out how to beat this game with only two players.

Tonight we attempted a D&D game.  We were all excited to get to play after nearly a year since our last attempt.  But only one person showed up to play tonight.  So we had to give up on that.  But Nick was over so we hung out all evening.

Dominica started the day off by baking fresh, home made cinnamon rolls!  This is awesome.  Not healthy, but awesome.

The heat wave broke today and brought with it a day of torrential rain.  It is so dramatic that we went from a dangerous heat index of 118F yesterday and unrelenting sun to rain and open windows keeping the house nice and cool today!  This is some crazy weather.
