Sheep Guarding Llama

It’s Friday!  I really need a Friday this week.  Very tired.  Just quite worn out.  It’s not been a bad week, just an exhausting one.  I was in my own office all day today, first time since Tuesday.

I did not have to work late today, it was nice.  I was out not too long after six and I was able to stop off at the deli on the way home for falafel pitas.  I brought them home and we ate and watched Cheers.  It was a nice, relaxing Friday evening.  Then we watched National Lampoon’s European Vacation as our entertainment for the evening.

Liesl’s project tonight was to get a packing box and she and Ciana coloured it all in to make it a “rocketship.”  She started asking to do that last night.  She had lots of fun but was very tired and had to go to bed before she was done.

I got to start the day a little bit later than usual today.  And starting it off in Wilton which is almost ten minutes closer to home than usual.  So I got to relax just a little bit this morning which was nice because I was so late leaving work last night.

Work was good today.  I thought that I was only going to be offsite for a little bit but ended up being there all day.  I got to leave work on the early side.  Not really early, but before six at least.  It was nice.

Got to come home and spend time with the girls.

Today was an extra long one.  Started early at an offsite office and boy was it an exhausting day.  Not a bad day, just really exhausting.  I was basically sequestered for a full day and never got to do anything relaxing or anything.

We were at work so late that we ordered in dinner.  Dinner didn’t come until nearly eight.  We ate and worked until after nine.  A very late night.  It was about ten thirty when I finally got home.  Barely got to see the girls and put them right to bed and then it was right off to bed for me too.

Went into the office this morning and had a fairly normal day for most of the day.  But in the early afternoon I had to head over to an offsite location and worked there for a while.  Luckily it ended up being an early day wrapping up for me and I got to go home early-ish and surprised the girls which was awesome.

We had a really nice evening, just the family hanging out.  Dominica and I headed to the basement pretty soon after I got home.  I surprised her by buying The Hobbit 2: The Desolation of Smaug on the AppleTV which gets those movies very soon after they are in the theatre and we watched that.  It was very good although it took us forever to get through since the girls would interrupt us constantly.  But it was fun.

It made for a nice evening.  We rarely have the time to do something like that.

Still working on getting caught up on SGL, but slowly making progress.  It’s Monday today and the car is now getting 35 M/g average over its lifetime.  I can’t believe how well the car is doing.

Normal, quiet day at work.  Came home and just spent time with the family.  Watched Cheers.
