March 31, 2004

Once again, I wrote updates and forgot to post. I AM getting old. Today was a work at home all day – day. I got a lot done, some certifications, a whole lot of partner stuff. It was a good, productive day.

Min subbed again today, she has been getting a lot of work. Next week Keshequa begins spring break so she knows that she won’t be working. But that works out well because we have a big Microsoft thing on Tuesday. So she is free to go now.

Phil and Min have a college thing tomorrow evening so we are planning on hanging out in the city tomorrow evening.

Min’s knitting website is up and running. Not polished yet, but running nonetheless. You can check out the beginnings of the site at MincaKnits.com.

March 30, 2004: Back from Binghamton

My first day back from Binghamton. I was exhausted today. I kind of took the day off but didn’t get very far. I was so tired all day that I wasn’t productive. I laid down for a nap in the afternoon but just before I dropped off to blissful slumber Cory showed up at the door and we went off to Omega Grill to talk about some work. Cory just came off a job for the state and is ready to hit some new and exciting projects.

Min and I spent the evening hanging out because we haven’t seen each other in days and she has to work all the rest of the week.

Today is the big migration day. Norm and I met the two Gentiva guys at 9:00 am. We worked a full day – twelve hours. It was a really busy day. I was planning on crashing up in Ithaca at Bob’s tonight but we worked so late that I ended up staying in Binghamton again.

John and I grabbed dinner out at Red Lobster before heading back to go to bed early. I am exhausted from working in an 80 degree office all day.

March 27, 2004

I had to be up super early this morning because I had to drive all the way down to Binghamton for work. Norm and I are working the Gentiva migration this weekend. It is almost a three hour drive but I managed to arrive just in time. The team from Gentiva didn’t arrive today so we had the day to ourselves. It is nice to do a migration in such a relaxing environment.

We had lunch at the Original Italian Pizza place on Washington in Endicott. The cheese sub that I had was just amazing.

I crashed over at John’s place tonight (you know John, the “Surfing IT Wizard”. He is living right on Main St. in Endicott these days so he was almost walking distance away from the Gentiva office. It was really handy.

John and I went out and did some DVD shopping at Walmart and grabbed some dinner at the OIP, the lunch meal was too good not to have some again.
