September 5, 2017: Library Day

Tuesday.  Mostly a busy social media posting, writing, and video production day.

This evening we went up to the library at Hebron so that the girls could find some books.  They always enjoy the library.  This was a very fun outing because we all managed to go together, and they are able to pick out their own books now.

They love all of the space and activities there.  It’s perfect for them.  They like the books, movies, tablet activities, computers, etc.

They love that they have all this space to just explore and find things that interest them.  And that all of it is set up for kids so it is at their height and all of the material is appropriate for them.

This evening I watched Sin Senos no Hay Paraiso which is an excellent Colombian dramatic telenovela telling of an important Colombian novel.

September 1, 2017: Fantastic Beasts

Friday.  I am back in Dallas and today I am busy getting to be a local bench tech running around to a local site up in McKinney, Texas.  A full day of desktop support tasks for me.  It was a busy day, but it is Friday and this was certainly a change of pace for me.  I like this from time to time.

After work, this evening we had a movie night.  Luciana started with us but decided that she was not into the movie and went to do her own thing.  So Dominica, Liesl, and I watched the first movie of the new Harry Potter series: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The movie was good, not nearly as good as the original eight Harry Potter movies and some of the casting choices seemed to be rather odd.  But overall it was a really good movie and we are looking forward to seeing more in this series.
