Tuesday. Rachel is moving along with her packing. Not long now until she is moving out after having lived with us, more or less, since we were in Spain in the spring of 2015.
Dominica made BBQ Tofu sandwiches for dinner tonight. They were awesome.
I don’t think that anyone went to Quiz Night tonight. Or at least neither Dominica nor I did.
Monday. Not a lot of sleep last night. The kids were not able to sleep and they kept me up much of the night.
I got the MangoLassi community updated today, not much of a difference.
Liesl tried playing Oceanhorn today.
Tonight we got take out Indian from Eat St. on Old Denton.
I got up and cleaned some this morning while everyone was still asleep.
Another morning of Liesl and I being up before anyone else. So we had some time to hang out and video game together. First off she tried playing Bad Rats. But after a little bit she decided that she was not into it.
We played Cheesecake Cool Conrad for a while. That is a really cool and interesting puzzle platformer. The girls really like that.
Liesl played Morphopolis, which she really liked. She was having so much fun with it that she decided to dress up for it so that she would fit into the game more.
After Morphopolis we played some MouseCraft. Then we returned to The Journey Down that we were playing a few nights ago.
Rachel started working on packing up today. She is moving out in a few days to move out to Wiley or somewhere like that that I have never been to.
Liesl and I were up before anyone else this morning. So we started the day playing her new game Slap Village from Steam together. That is a cute game and looks like it will really be fun.
After Slap Village, Liesl and I played XCOM: Enemy Within together. She totally loves this game and really gets into all of the characters in it and the strategy behind everything.
Liesl played Castaway Paradise for a while, so I went to the office to work.
Dominica and I started watching the new Netflix series GLOW today. So far, it seems kind of interesting. I really like Alison Brie, so that’s what convinced me to give it a try.
The girls tried playing some Move or Die with their cousins online this morning. It did not work out really well, though. That is a tough game in general and playing it online did not work out great.
This afternoon we packed up the girls and we took them to a splash park that Carrollton has. We have never tried one of these before, but I had heard about it from one of the other parents at one of the regular playgrounds so I had a feeling that the girls would really love it.
It took a little driving around to find, but we found the splash park and it is not far from us at all. And it is really nice, and very busy. Lots of fun stuff. The girls just loved it.
Such a great idea for the Texas heat. The splash parks are going to be a new place for us to go. And a great place for the girls to make local friends.
Dinner tonight was veggie dogs and corn on the cob.
The girls played Castle Crashers online for a while with their cousins this afternoon. Then tonight the girls and I played more Book of Unwritten Tales together. We did two more chapters of it tonight!
