Sheep Guarding Llama

Saturday.  There was rain around the region today, but it managed to just miss us.

Dominica has been having some issues with her Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro laptop.  It has never been good, at all, but since leaving Windows behind it has been much improved.  We are still trying to figure out how to make it actually good, though.  So today I installed Gecko Linux with the Budgie desktop to see how that will work.

Liesl and I had a daddy / daughter movie night tonight.  I made popcorn and we hung out.  Luciana decided to do her own thing.  We watched a few things, but the big one was Liesl’s first time watching Agent Cody Banks which she liked.

Friday. Started the day doing Zimbra update work.  MangoLassi was super busy today, so that kept me working for a while.  I actually stayed up “last night” and did not go to bed until six o’clock this morning!

Luciana sneaked into our room this morning and climbed into bed.  I had only gotten about three hours of sleep before that, so that made falling back asleep and getting a few more hours a lot easier.

The entire day was so busy for MangoLassi that I really never got a chance to do anything else.  I did manage to get an article out today, that was good.  Later in the day actually got another article out and scheduled.  Lots of writing has been going on!

The girls and I played Minecraft together while watching the Dick Van Dyke show.

Late tonight we got surprised by a thunderstorm.

Thursday. This morning I took the kids to the playground as it was pretty nice out.  They love their time on the playgrounds.

I got Taco Bell on the way home from the playground.

I had a local SpiceCorps DFW event planned in Carrollton tonight, pretty close to the house.  So I went out in the late afternoon and tried to attend.  I got to the location but there was a line out the door and a sea of people there at the venue and there was all kinds of security and when I asked there was no SpiceCorps.  I was not allowed into the building except on some crazy tour.  So I guess there was no meeting, I just went back home.  There was no sign, nothing to suggest that there might be a meeting and no way for me to go into the building.

I made cheesy tots for the kids tonight.  Then Dominica and I watched more 30 Rock.

The kids played a bunch of Battleblocks Theater tonight.

Wednesday.  I did a bit of PBX work today with FreePBX.  And that is all that I wrote down today.

Tuesday.  Started the day today with sunny skies and a pretty heavy rain, all at once.

Liesl and Garrett continued played Age of Empires 2 HD online with each other today.  Every so often I hear Liesl screaming “All Hail, King of the Losers!”

I had cheese and crackers for dinner today.

Dominica went out in the rain to go grocery shopping today.

Tonight it was Dominica’s turn to attend Quiz Night with the gang.
