May 31, 2018: End of May

Thursday. Finally, May is over. This has been a super hard month follow the disaster in April. Today was so busy that I never got a change to get online all day. May has been really hard. Next month is going to be hard, too. This is going to take a while for us to get all straightened out, but we are getting there.

Next month, Dominica and Madeline are heading to the United Kingdom and Ireland for most of the month. I probably need the quiet time, but that will make for more work, too. But the girls are going to be in New York during that time, so things are going to be really, really quiet all month. I am going to be crazy lonely, but I am going to be catching up a lot.

Dinner tonight was fried rice.

May 30, 2018: Lots of Calls

Worked late last night and had to get up and get to the desk relatively early this morning so that I could run some conference calls. Other than some morning calls, it was a relatively normal, and busy, day of work.

By six thirty this evening, I had been on the phone for nine hours between conference calls and dealing with Microsoft support. What a long day.

After normal work hours, some of the sales team came over and we sat out on the atrium for a few hours having drinks and strategizing. They were over till well after midnight.

Headed off to bed at around one thirty.

May 29, 2018: Liesl Understands Pop Tarts

This morning Paul left to drive up to Missouri again.

Dominica went out shopping at Walmart today.

We are eating leftovers from the graduation party this week. We have lots. I just made a salad for dinner, we don’t need any food more than that.

I did Windows Server updates tonight. Did PBX work, too.

Tonight, Liesl discovered that Pop Tarts are supposed to be toasted. She thought that they were meant to be cold. She had no idea that they went into the toaster. It’s like a whole new world of breakfast pastries for her.

I had to work late tonight, until well after two in the morning. I have conference calls to get to in the morning, so I can’t sleep in very much.
