I bought my SNES, with my own money, while in high school around 1993. It was the first console that I bought myself and only my second traditional console after the ColecoVision that my parents bought for me as a child. In between the two I had only owned a Nintendo GameBoy which was stolen at about the same time that I bought the SNES. The SNES is the machine which I took to college with me in 1994 and was my only machine until I bought the Nintendo 64. The SNES was one of the greatest video game consoles ever.
