Sheep Guarding Llama

Friday.

Slow day of work.  Both in the office and all my online activities were very slow today.  By before three this afternoon, I was ready to call it a day.

Dominica did grocery shopping today.  I Telegrammed her to get me some Modelo.

This evening was me doing loads of manual database edits.  Boring work, but had to be done.

Did tons of SodiumSuite installs tonight.  Testing on a lot of new platforms.

For dinner tonight, Dominica made pan friend, coconut battered tofu with a honey ginger siracha dipping sauce.  While eating dinner, Dominica and I watched some Cheers.  We’ve been working our way through some of the classics that we didn’t see or haven’t seen since we were little.  I’m always surprised by how much of Cheers I remember when watching it now, but I could not think of any previously.  I must have watched it a lot more when I was really little than I realized.

Thursday.  Still in Houston.  I worked from the Grices’ house all day.  The kids were playing with their cousins, of course.

We packed up today and around seven this evening we got on the road and drove back up north to Dallas.  We got back home at about one in the morning.

Wednesday.  In Houston today.  Trying to get work done, but it is very hard when trying to be productive down here.  Not much space for me.  No real updates today.

Had lunch with John Nicholson at Chili’s today.

Tuesday.  Today is Colton’s first birthday party with his cousins.  For his birthday, all of the cousins went to the aquarium in Galveston.  Dominica went with them, I stayed at the Grices’ to get work done.  I have plenty of work to do and it is expensive to go to that aquarium so definitely no reason for another adult to be there.

The kids got back home a little after one.

At five, I joined the family outside for some beers.

 

Monday.  The girls camped out in the living room last night.  It was very funny to find them this morning.

Too much rolling around and the tent eventually collapsed.  But that’s not going to stop sleeping in!

I worked all day, then this evening we went down to Houston.  It was late, around eight, when we finally got onto the road.  So a very late night drive.  We got into Houston around two in the morning.
