Medifast Status: Day 265, Down ~73lbs (27lbs to go)
Back to work. I took the day to work from home because I was paged out so late last night and got so little sleep.
I found another book that I was the lead writer on. At least this time it was really accredited to me. I wish that someone would tell me about these things, though, so that I would not have to do a search on them to find out when my writing is being used someplace interesting. It was nice being home today. I got a lot of time with the girls.
The rain started last night. This is the rain. I’ve heard a rumor that it is going to be raining all week, in fact, going as late as Friday. It has been hypothesized that this rain storm may be so big that it might actually replenish the DFW regional water table that has been so heavily depleted following the drought that lasted us all summer.
It rained all day today with it getting pretty heavy at times. It was a nice day to stay home.
Liesl’s new thing is playing with a large balloon in the living room. She has gotten good at both playing catch with it and playing “keep the balloon in the air” which she just loves. I can’t believe how good she is at that.
We have been watching a lot of How I Met Your Mother and we are rapidly catching up with the current state of the show. We are into the fifth season now. I believe that the sixth season is the current one.
We stayed in all day today.
