July 30, 2018: Migration and Tooth Loss

Monday.  Today is our big Rocket.Chat migration that I worked on all weekend.  Technically the migration is done, but today all of the users start using it en masse and that is when things are bound to go wrong.

So we were all up early and watching things.  I had been very diligent yesterday with keeping on top of that, but today is when the bulk of users end up on it so today is when things are going to go wrong.

But we had an uneventful day.  It all went very smoothly.  So quite a busy day, but a good one.

Paul made dinner tonight.  Tuna salad over pasta, or just tuna salad for me.  And we all ate dinner while watching Star Trek: Voyager of course.  We are still only halfway through the first season.

This evening, Luciana said that her tooth was very loose.  A bit of a surprise as we didn’t know it was even a little loose until just then.  And then it came out late this evening!  She decided that she really wanted to protect this tooth from mommy and put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy.  So we are doing that tonight.

Got the kids to bed at a decent time.  Watched a little of the fourth season of Deep Space Nine before turning in myself.  But I played the tooth fairy before going to sleep.  So Ciana will wake up to a crisp two dollar bill in the morning.
