Wednesday. I slept in a lot today. It was a late night with Luciana not feeling well, and then she got me up during the middle of the night, as well. So I really did not get a lot of sleep, maybe just six or seven hours.
Today is the girls’ homeschool book club at the library. Hard to believe that we have been back in Texas for a month already, it was for their book club that we had to return from New York.
Paul and I worked all morning. The girls left a little before one. Their club is at one thirty. This is their last book club until the group starts back up after the summer holiday in September. Seems like a rather long break, to me.

The girls had a good time and they did a STEM project there, they make bracelets and necklaces with beads that spelled out their names in binary.
After book club, the girls went with their friends to the playground for an hour or two. They had a good time, but had to come home on the early side because Luciana was not feeling so well.
As soon as they were back, Luciana fell asleep on the sofa in our bedroom. She is definitely not fully recovered from being sick.
While Dominica and the girls were out at book club, Jim came over and work on the guest bathroom was moving forward in earnest. Jim and Paul worked up in the attic getting the new electrical run for the new lights going into the bathroom. There is a lot of new, surprise lighting being put in that the guys want to get done while Dominica is not around so that she will be surprised by all of it. The girls are going to love their new bathroom.
This afternoon, Liesl used her room decorating kit that Dominica and I got her for Christmas.

For dinner tonight, Dominica made pasta with broccoli.
Tuesday.
Paul made all out nachos this afternoon. That was our dinner, it was quite good. Very different from what we normally do.

Luciana fell asleep this afternoon and slept most of it on the sofa in our bedroom. She is really not feeling well.
This evening, Luciana was in a huge amount of pain for being so constipated. It has been a long time since she has been this bad. She’s making taking medicine for a few days, but it really is not having very much of a positive effect for her.
It was quite late when we all knocked off from working. Around nine Luciana moved into my office to watch shows on her iPad and Dominica, Paul, and I watched the beginning of season three of Coupling. I made cable cars tonight, as there were some lemons in the fridge that I had not known about.
I ended up being up with Luciana until one or two in the morning. She tried taking a warm bath and everything. Just nothing would work. She finally needed to resort to more drastic medication well after midnight. Then Dominica was able to go to bed and I stayed up with Luciana.
So we skipped our book reading tonight as it was so late when everyone was able to get into bed. Liesl was pretty disappointed.
This week has been a continuous stream of Comcast outages. Had a few today, had easily a dozen in the past week. It’s just a non-stop problem.
This evening we watching some of Coupling Season 2 from the BBC.
Dinner tonight was pancakes.

I started the day out mowing the lawn. It takes forever when doing it all with the weed whackers. Good exercise, though.
It was sixty five degrees this morning, but expected to drop to forty four tonight.
I did a Fedora 27 laptop install this morning. Back to more mowing for a second round this afternoon.
This evening I moved my office desktop, my old AMD A6 hand me down unit, from Deepin to Fedora 27 with Cinnamon. Deepin has been great, but Fedora seems like a better choice for our corporate standard.
