June 5, 2018: Hail of a Night

I had gotten to bed early last night, and that means that a lot of work piled up during the night. So even though I was up at a good time this morning, I was a bit behind. So I started the day trying to catch up with everything from work.

We had a super busy day on MangoLassi today. We brought the three million monthly thread loads number today, a very exciting benchmark.

I was quite busy today. Busy with ML during the day, and this evening I was doing consulting work for a road cleaning company in Salt Lake City and Denver until decently late. A busy day for me.

Tonight, after midnight, we got some crazy hail here in Dallas. Hail the size of pennies coming down at one thirty in the morning. I had to stay up so that I could keep tabs on the hail and make sure that we were not getting too much damage. One of the worst parts of owning a house, the constant worry of something like a hail storm destroying your home.

June 3, 2018: Atrium Meeting

Sunday. Started the day with a meeting out in the atrium. But it got really hot before noon.

This has been an ongoing story for a couple months, but had six more Comcast outages today. They just cannot get their act together for anything.

Lunch today, I made a tuna melt. And I made it with fresh dill that I picked from my harvest in the atrium. And I added toasted sesame seed oil. It was tasty.

This evening it was a PBX migration project for me. Even Sundays, I am stuck working all day.

But tonight, I managed to get to bed at one thirty. Pretty good for this past month.

June 2, 2018: Second Television Hung

I slept in a little bit, but am still pretty tired from working so much. For lunch today, Dominica and I and the kids went out to Denny’s in Lewisville to meet up with some of my cousins who are in from Ohio, and some that live in Texas not too far from us to hang out for lunch.

I had to get back to work for the rest of the day. This evening I kept working while Paul and Dominica went out to the bar to play darts.

Today Paul hung the television up on Dominica and my bedroom. Now we have a lot more space to move around in our room.

June 1, 2018: New Living Room TV

Friday. Finally into June. Going to push through and get to the end of this spring season.

Last night I was still working until after three in the morning.

Today Paul mounted his 65″ 4K television in the living room above the fireplace. We haven’t used the drop down screen for the projector in years. We’ve had the small 42″ 1080p Walmart TV in the living room for a while and it is way too small. So this is a major improvement.

Another day of being so busy that I never got to emerge from my office to see the family . In fact I have really not seen them all week. My meal today was fake chicken sandwiches that I made myself and ate alone in my office.

Not only was I super busy all day, but I had to work until three in the morning, again. This has become way too much of a regular thing.
